We welcome the faithful, the seeker, and the doubter, because God's embrace is wide, and God's Good News is for all people.

Thank you for visiting St. Alban's Parish - we are so pleased you are here! Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we hope you will find something in our worship, our fellowship, our outreach, and our many opportunities for learning and growth that will help you on your way.  If you want to know more about what's happening at St. Alban's, check out our News & Events page or keep browsing.

St. Alban's is a member church of the Episcopal Church, in the Diocese of Washington. If you are new to the Episcopal Church or would like to know what to expect during worship at St. Alban's go to our Worship & Music page for more information.

Because we strive to be inclusive and welcoming of all people, we have become, over time, a diverse community, drawing from every walk of life, every culture and context, and every corner of Washington, DC, and neighboring cities.

If you are interested in becoming a member at St. Alban's or simply want to know more about us, we suggest coming to a Newcomers Brunch or joining one of our Newcomers classes. St. Alban's clergy are always available to answer your questions or meet privately for prayer and pastoral direction. Please contact our office.

Join us for brunch and get to know St. Alban's Parish.

Newcomers Brunches

Throughout the year, St. Alban’s formally welcomes newcomers over brunch and fellowship. These meals provide a casual setting for newcomers to meet with others exploring St. Alban's Parish as well as long time parishioners. Invitations are mailed to newcomers who have filled out welcome sheets (below or found in the narthex). Everyone at St. Alban’s is invited to be a part of this ministry of hospitality. Parishioners can help by bringing a dish to share—-entrée, side dish, or dessert-—and joining our guests for brunch and conversation. If you are new to the parish but have not yet filled out a welcome sheet you are still invited to join us for our next newcomer brunch. For more information, or to volunteer, contact Matthew Hanisian.
