Deborah Meister has been Rector of St. Alban's Parish since September 2011. She is the former Rector of Christ Church in New Brunswick, N.J. and a graduate of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. Read more about her here.

Jim came to St. Albans December 2, 2012. He is the former Rector of St. George’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2001.

The Reverend Matthew R. Hanisian, Associate Rector

Matthew Hanisian was called to St. Alban's Parish in July 2011. Formerly he taught religion at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School and served at St. Paul's Church, Alexandria. Matthew is a 2010 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary.

The Reverend Simon Bautista, Diocesan Latino Missioner

Simon Bautista has served as the Canon for Latino Ministries in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington since 2004. He was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States in 1993. He officiates at the Spanish-language service at St. Alban's at 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Loren Mead served as a parish priest for 15 years before founding the Alban Institute, a nonprofit focused on building congregations and chuch leadership (not affiliated with St. Alban's Parish).
